AMC’s The Walking Dead next season has been delayed by a year. The season 10 finale, which aired in April, will now air on October 4, while season 11 was delayed till 2021.
During Virtual San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, showrunner Matt Negret confirmed that worldwide production had ended before the closure of COVID-19. Season 11 was originally expected to release in 2020 but will no longer go into production until next year due to the global coronavirus epidemic.
