Here is what we know about the show called Stumptown canceled at ABC Signature!
Well, well, well, here is a piece of very shocking news for all the people who are in love with the series called Stumptown because as of right now, news has come out that this breakout show which stars actress Cobie Smulders has been canceled.
Yes, this information sucks because when we sit down and remember how happy we were back in May when ABC provided this series with a green light to go on and create a further batch of fresh episodes which will make up the second season, we were so happy and now this is so heartbreaking.
Here is why ABC Signature canceled Stumptown when it was already renewed?
The studio which is behind the show is ABC Signature and it has now finally put a word to the fact that they are, as of right now, planning to shop it and find it a better and new home. This news has been reported by a fellow news media outlet called Deadline.
As we all know that Stumptown was supposed to be a part of the Fall schedule of ABC for 2020 and it was announced about it back in June. The whole show was even slated to return on Wednesday at its usual 10 PM slot just like it happened back in the first season.
Is there any chance of us seeing Stumptown on some other platform?
It has been reported according to the sources of Deadline that there is a timing issue connected to the production start delay made it nearly impossible for the series to be ready for an autumn launch when the network already has a lot of scheduling that needs to be done for the latter half of 2020 as well as the new shows for 2021.
As a result of all these combined factors, a final decision has been made by the network to not go forward with this previously renewed season.
