The Witcher by Henry Cavill has become one of the most popular shows on Netflix.
What can be the story of The Nightmare Wolf? What would be it all about?
However, The Witcher CD is well known for the Prozek Raid video game trilogy, the Netflix series based on the eight-book saga by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. There is a lot of material within Sapkowski’s novels and tales, but Knight of Wolf would not be suitable for any of them. Instead, Netflix is looking to tell a whole new story about a beloved character that will be featured in the show’s upcoming second season: Vesemir.
Wesemir is an old witch, working as Geralt’s father (Henry Cavill) on books and games, but according to the film’s official description, there are incidents of Wolf’s nightmares long before Geralt’s birth. Netflix describes the film as: “Long before Geralt is mentioned, Vesmir begins his journey as a warlock after being claimed through the Law of Wonders by the mysterious Diegan.” According to author Bue Demayo, the story will be present within the show’s canon, and the second season is likely related to Vesemir’s live-action look. We may also see a Geralt cameo, perhaps towards the end of the story.
What can be the expected date when we can get a Nightmare of The Wolf on our screens?
The official release date of The Witch: Netflix has not revealed Wolf’s nightmares, but early rumors suggested that the streaming service hopes to release the movie between season one and the season two show. The second season under consideration is currently expected to launch in the first half of 2021, so the anime film may be released later this year.
Which studio is developing a Nightmare of The Wolf?
The Knight of the Wolf script was written by Beau Demayo, who wrote the third episode of the first season of The Witcher, as well as the second episode of the upcoming season. Demayo has also joined the writing room for the Moon Knight Disney + series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Also included in the film is The Witcher showrunner Lauren S. Hisrich, though her exact role in the project is unknown. He likely supervised the project.
Meanwhile, the studio behind Wolf Animation’s nightmare is Korean Studio Mir, famous for its animation for The Legend of Korra (spin-off series Avatar: The Last Airbender). If the animation is as good as Kora, then we are ready for great pleasure.
