Medvedev: Trump Impeachment Would Not Harm U.S. Political System

The problem surrounding a potential impeachment of U.S. President Donald Trump won’t damage the American governmental system, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said according to Interfax, which mentioned Vesti Saturday.

Medvedev said he’s following what is happening with fascination:

  • “That really is their business, that the business of the American governmental system. However, the simple fact that they have fought in earnest, that is absolutely sure, as there’s a true chance for both factions of the governmental strategy to acquire this tug of war”
  • “The U.S. includes a severe system, very balanced — nothing quite crucial will occur”
  • “The American political system has revealed its usefulness for centuries”
  • “We surely shouldn’t be worried about their fate. Everything will be OK together, but we are going to have to wait and see exactly what resonance this can get in different nations and in Ukraine. It is intriguing to see it”
