A Georgia based man is booked for murdering his girlfriend
A Georgian man reportedly told police his girlfriend shot herself in the head, but authorities say an autopsy report confirmed that she lost her life due to murder.
The source authorities found Katlyn Head, 30, on the side of Interstate 985 in Buford, inside a car with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
Gray claimed that his girlfriend shot himself
Head’s boyfriend, 30-year-old Lawrence Gray, called 911 and said he shot himself after fighting in a car.
The killer detective spoke to the witnesses and gathered evidence on the scene. Meanwhile, a postmortem performed by the Gwinnett County doctor’s office claimed that Head was killed, and not committed suicide.
Charges against Gray
Authorities arrested Gray on July 31 and accused him of aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and murder.
The officers are seeking help from several people and they have issued a notice that someone with information about Gray should immediately report to the officers.
According to a report, Heads was the mother of a young son.
