Ricky Martin And Enrique Iglesias Tour
Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias tour and the opening act will be Sebastian Yatra. The singers have just revealed their joint tour, and fans can’t be excited anymore. The Grammy-winning artists shared their happiness at working together at a recent press conference. “This is a historical moment, and for a long time, we wanted to do that,” Iglesias said. Ricky Martin said, “There is nothing like standing on stage and experiencing the strength of the thousands of dancers.”
They both spoke in an interview, both singers — who work on new songs — and said they were ready to record a song together. In addition to iconic international performers, Iglesias, 44, and Martin, 48, are both related to working parents. “I don’t sleep, but I have a great time,” Enrique joked about being Lucia, Nicholas, a two-year-old dad and a one-month-old daughter with a former Russian tennis star, Anna Kournikova.
Martin added that they could carry the children on some parts of the tour and probably visit their family during breaks. “If you’ve had a few days off or maybe you can always go back home, but we’re dealing with children,” said Ricky. The Porto Rican rapper, dad of twins Valentino and Matteo, 11 years old, and one-year-old daughter Lucia, with Jwan Yosef, says that he is a hands-on parent, but has learned to take support. “I didn’t want any support, including my mother, I wanted to do everything on my own,” he remembers. “Where I fell asleep, it is risky to feed my child. That’s when I said, Well, I need assistance.”
Embraces All The Support
Enrique says he embraces all the support he can get, and he wants his children to choose sports rather than music for their careers. The Spanish star shared, too, that he and his wife play tennis together. “I’d like to see one of my little girls playing tennis; I’m going to become one of these obsessed fathers. But I told Anne, I said You might be the best coach in the world. She’s going to let me win,” he joked.
Yatra expressed his enthusiasm for being part of these concerts. “It’s an incredible dream come true, and I’ve never dreamed that two of my greatest heroes have been possible, people who have been so important for me over the years, and we will enjoy this tour and thank Ricky and Enrique,” he said. “I’m ready to learn, to see more about the USA, and to enjoy this special moment.”
Live Nation begins the tour in Phoenix on 5 September and stops in Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and other cities before 30 October in Atlanta. Tickets are available for sale on 12 March.
